Beating Heatwave

With soaring temperatures in recent days, discover effective strategies to stay cool and safe during beach and water sports activities:

1) Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your body cool and prevent dehydration.

2) Seek Shade: Take breaks in shaded areas to escape the direct sun and lower your body temperature.

3) Wear Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen regularly to protect your skin from harmful UV rays and avoid sunburn.

4) Wear Light Clothing: Opt for loose, light-colored clothing to stay cool and allow your skin to breathe.

5) Time Your Activities: Plan outdoor activities during the cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late afternoon.

6) Take Cool Dips: Take frequent dips in the ocean to cool off and refresh yourself.

7) Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to signs of heat exhaustion or heatstroke, such as dizziness, nausea, or rapid heartbeat, and seek shade and hydration immediately if you experience them.
